The Guard House is a lovely pub and event space in Woolwich, located a mere minute’s walk away from the Elizabeth line and a few minutes from the DLR station. I hosted my book launch at the Guard House on the 1st of December 2018. The service we received was impeccable and the food was so delicious. Thank you Dan and Rikki for going out of your way to support my big day and thank you to Imogen for being amazing behind the bar! I will definitely be hosting more event in this venue.

Just what I needed and more
When my usual commute was unfortunately disrupted I popped in here for a quick beer. I ended up having a long chat with Dan and stayed for a great dinner (sausage & mash, got to go for a classic!) and he recommended me through their selection of ales.
Now whenever I want to treat myself I “disrupt” my commute via the guard house!

Outstanding Service
Popped in only for a quick lunch with my family, but our experience was so good we ended up staying much longer! Great food and drinks, with the best service I have ever received. Thanks again to all the staff who looked after us – we had a lovely time! We will definitely be returning.
